Renewing the African Mind - One Life in Christ at a Time

Imagine a University that produces worshipers of God - an institute of higher learning that does not blindly celebrate all faiths or lifestyles embodying the prevalent culture of moral confusion that this world celebrates. Instead, this is an environment where education celebrates the preeminence of Jesus Christ in everything. Here the intellect, effort and will are transformed as knowledge of God is passionately pursued. The whole-life focus facilitates the development of morally astute, servant-leaders. Committed professors and staff mentor through a Biblical perspective matured through practiced application. Continual commitment to benevolent works through God's power throughout the community nurtures a habitual concern for others. This is an educational environment that can integrate with the Church that Jesus Christ is building to impact an entire continent as Christ is exalted in the lives of God's people.

This is not simply an imagined dream. This vision is owed to a God who can move mountains and to a praying people with faith as a grain of mustard seed. For, nothing is too big for our God. He has purposefully transitioned African Christian University from the vision and planning stages to its first capital campaign. As we look back, we praise Him. As we look ahead, we anticipate His abundant grace.

The Reformed Baptist Churches of Zambia initiated the goal of establishing an indigenous, Christ-centered university of the full breadth of humanities, arts, sciences, agriculture and vocational technical training. We believe that God is calling the extended church to assist in the development phase and work alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ. We extend this opportunity to you as we announce the "425 Campaign."

The purpose, as the theme proclaims, is to participate in "Renewing the African Mind - One Life in Christ at a Time."

African Christian University (ACU) is transitioning from the initial planning and vision phase and is entering into its first capital campaign. The Reformed Baptist Churches of Zambia initiated the goal of establishing an indigenous, Christ-centered university. We believe that God is calling the extended church to assist in the development phase and work alongside our brothers and sisters in Christ. The goal of the 425 campaign is to have 400 partners donate $25 per month (400 @ $25/mo = 425 campaign) toward the initial development of ACU in Zambia. The money raised will be used to embark on the initiation phase of construction at the proposed campus site, and for expenses related to the advancement of the project as we move forward. ACU is dependent on the faithful prayer support that it receives from the international body of Christ. We acknowledge complete reliance on our heavenly Father, believing that He will accomplish His purpose as we pray together in the name of Jesus.

ACU USA, the support arm for the university, is a registered, non-profit, tax-exempt organization (501(c)3) in the United States, set up to receive donations for Christ-centered higher education in Zambia. If you are faithfully giving to your local church as God would direct you, and have sought God in prayer as to whether or not He would have you support African Christian University, then we would welcome your fellowship with us participating in the 425 Campaign through your donation for ACU.

Pastor Tedd Tripp, ACU-USA board member and author of the book, "Sheperding a Child's Heart," states, "I have had the opportunity of traveling all over the world and I think that what is going on in Zambia is truly unique." Please join him in escalating awareness of this robust effort, by stretching the bounds of charity.

Thank you for partnering with us in this God glorifying endeavor!
